The handling conditions described above are the optimum room conditions to print the media. If the humidity is too high, the drying time will take longer. If the Humidity is too low, feeding the media into the plotter may become difficult.
Storage of unprinted media
Store the unprinted roll media in its original anti-static plastic sleeve, hobbins and box. Inkjet media should be kept in the same room or area as the inkjet plotter/printer. Returning the media to its original package helps to ensute print quality by
- keeping dust and finger prints off the surface.
- maintaining the humidity and temperature of the media.
- Protecting the ends of the roll for easier feeding into the plotter.
- Prolonging the shelf life of the media.
