III. HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
Threshold Limit Value: Vinyl Acetate 10ppm (1991 - 1992 ACGIH TWA)
Eye Contact: May cause moderate irritation. May cause moderate corneal injury.
Skin Contact: Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause skin irritation. A single prolonged exposure may result in the material being absorbed in harmful amounts.
Inhalation: Excessive exposure may cause irritation to upper respiratory tract. A single prolonged exposure is not likely to be hazardous. Signs and symptoms of excessive exposure may be central nervous system effect.
Occupational Exposure None established.
FIRST AID EMERGENCY PROCEDURES:  
Never give fluids or induce vomiting if patient is unconscious or having convulsions.
Ingestion: Induce vomiting if large amounts are ingested. Consult medical personnel.
Eye: Irrigate with flowing water immediately and continuously for 15 minutes. Consult medical personnel.
Skin: In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a physician if irritation persists. Wash clothing before reuse. Destroy contaminated shoes.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give mouth-to mouth resuscitation. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician.
NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: No specific antidote. Supportive care. Treatment based on judgement of the physician in response to reactions of the patient.
